'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League return

Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has declared that his desire in coming back to the Premier League has lessened and he is willing to explore a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is presently midway through the four-year contract he agreed to when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the offseason of 2023.

The experienced forward has scored an remarkable 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German side, helping them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which marked the first major achievement of his illustrious career.

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has earlier expressed that he would welcome to see Kane go back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England skipper has now suggested that he is no longer as eager about coming back home as he once was, and would definitely contemplate extending his tenure in Bavaria.

"In terms of extending longer, I could certainly see that," he remarked.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be prepared to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so progresses and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have discovered in my career is that different opportunities and different moments happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the record top scorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a trophy had escaped him until he won the German title last season.

Kane admits that he was not sure how he would react after overcoming his trophy drought, but now thinks it has made him hungry for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.

"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
